You may have seen the ‘Silly Walk’ phenomenon taking over, and we think it’s time to start it in Bakersfield! Come by The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater and participate in our own version, the “Silly Walk of Stars” and do your very own silly walk or dance to enter for a chance to win 2 tickets to ANY one of our future shows! If you’ve ever been to the Fox, you’ll know that our sidewalk has its own Walk of Stars featuring some of our community’s iconic and influential inhabitants. We thought it’d be fun to use our Walk of Stars as a runway for a silly walk, where you could become a breakout silly walk star and win BIG. Show us your moves, Bakersfield! Make The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater your stage and tag us on Instagram or Facebook in your posts with the hashtag #FOXSILLYWALK to enter. Submissions will be accepted from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24 and will be uploaded to our website thebakersfieldfox.com where voting will take place. The video with the most votes will be crowned the “Silly Walk of Stars” and will win two tickets to a show of their choice once we re-open.

All voting will take place at thebakersfieldfox.com from Monday, May 25 through Wednesday, May 27, with a winner being chosed on Thursday, May 28.
