Edward W. Winslow Collection

In May 2022, Debbie and Mark Grogan contacted the Fox Theater Foundation after seeing a Facebook post about the Memories on H project. When her mother Joan passed away in 2014, Debbie found a box of items that once belonged to her father, Edward W. Winslow, a former manager of the Fox Theater in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The box contained photographs, fiscal reports, newspaper clippings, catalogs, and scrapbooks personally collected by Mr. Winslow of items pertaining to his time as manager of the Bakersfield Fox Theater. Thanks to help from the Kern County Museum, these articles have been digitized and made free to view for the community thanks to the Grogan family.
