Where can I buy tickets for shows at The Nile Theater?
Tickets can be purchased via the Calendar, in person at the Fox Theater Box Office located at 2001 H Street, or by phone during Box Office hours. The Fox Theater Box Office is open weekdays from 10 am – 1 pm.
Can I buy tickets at the door on the day of the event?
Subject to availability, tickets may be purchased on the day of the event. You may purchase them in person at The Nile Theater 2 hours prior to each event start time.
Is the theater standing room only or reserved seating?
Many of the shows are general admission standing room only, but some shows may have seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the event page in the Calendar to learn more about each specific event’s seating arrangement.
Do I need a negative test or vaccination card to enter?

Americans With Disabilities Act Accommodations?
To purchase wheelchair accessible seating, request an assistive hearing device or any other accommodations call the Fox Theater Box office at 661.324.1369, or visit the Box Office in person during business hours. Assistive hearing devices are wireless and do not require special seating.
Does my child need a ticket?
Yes, everyone requires a ticket regardless of age. For certain events, children under two can sit on the lap of an accompanying adult ticket holder. To inquire about this policy on specific shows, please email info@thebakersfieldfox.com.
Can anyone regardless of age attend a show at The Nile Theater?
The Nile Theater is typically an all ages theater, but some shows do specify an age requirement. Please check the event listing in the Calendar or email info@thebakersfieldfox.com. Please note that some shows may be more suitable than others for children and are up to parental discretion.
What is a presale? How do I participate?
Presales are early access ticket sales. These are by invitation only via email and are usually offered by fan clubs or radio stations. The Nile Theater occasionally offers pre-sales to our mailing list members. Please subscribe to our mailing list to receive these pre-sale notices by entering your email on the home page.
When can I pick up my Will Call tickets?
If you placed your tickets under Will Call, tickets can be picked up on weekdays at the Fox Box Office between 10 AM and 1 PM. On the day of the show, tickets can be picked up at The Nile Theater 2 hours prior to the show. Be sure to bring a photo ID and/or your ticket confirmation, as these may be required for ticket pickup.
Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?
All tickets are sold on a no refund, exchange, or cancellation basis and are only usable for the day, date and time selected at the time of purchase.
Is there an elevator in the building?
The Nile Theater does not have an elevator.
When do the doors open for a show?
The doors typically open one hour prior to show time, although this may vary from show to show. Please refer to the calendar for the most up-to-date information.
What can I bring to the show?
For the comfort and safety of everyone, please do not bring in the following items: weapons, aerosol cans (hair spray, mace, pepper spray, etc.), outside food & beverage, pocket knives (with a blade longer than 2 inches), utility tools, laser light pointers, bottles, cans, large bags, and coolers. Professional cameras or recording devices are not allowed. The Nile Theater is a non-smoking facility.
Does The Nile Theater serve food?
Yes, food including popcorn, candy, soda and other items are available at the concession stand in the lobby. There also are a number of restaurants near The Nile Theater. In addition to street parking all around The Nile, there also are several outdoor parking lots nearby including one near the Fox Theater on G Street.
Is there Handicapped parking available near The Nile Theater?
Yes. Handicap parking is located on the south side of The Fox Theater on 20th Street. If there are no spaces available on 20th.
Where are the Restrooms located in The Nile Theater?
Restrooms are located in the lower lobby of The Nile Theater along with an ADA-accessible restroom. Restrooms can also be found in the balcony.
Are there any hotels near The Fox Theater?
There are several hotels located near the theater.
Where is lost and found?
