If you’ve missed the local music scene then The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater has the fix for you! We’ve partnered with 23ABC Bakersfield and have curated 15 weeks of concerts to bring you the Fox’s first live stream concert series, Live Stream Vaccine: The Entertainment Cure.
Tune in every Friday from the comfort of your home to watch local musicians perform on the Fox stage! This is a free online event for the community to enjoy. You can tune with 23ABC’s OTT/APP stream, which is available on your phone, tablet, and/or television with an internet connection. HATE DRUGS is an indie pop band from Bakersfield, CA founded in the summer of 2014 by David Caploe with the release of his self-produced EP, Rough Daze. The remaining members – Josiah Caploe, Norman Lee, Adrian Diaz, and John Irwin IV – joined the band shortly after and released two more EPs and LPs together: Anna Grahm (2015), Beach Weekend (2016), Tsunami Soul II (2017), and Tsunami Soul I (2019). Collectively, the band’s catalog has garnered over 5 million streams across all platforms to date. The band has since toured across the country, playing shows with other emerging indie bands, including HARBOUR, Dayglow, Jasper Bones, Ritt Momney, The Grinns, and Vista Kicks.
California-based Aly Youranday is a pop artist known for her rich, complex power house vocals. Aly’s music is known to inspire and make you dance your hearts out.
