In recognition and honor of our American Heroes-Veterans, Silver Titan Productions presents the 2nd Annual CENTRAL VALLEY VETERANS FILMFEST, a “one of a kind” film festival that not only recognizes our veterans, but also presents awards to our heroes and their families.
Admission is FREE to the public – tickets will be made available for pick up at the FOX Theater Box Office
Four (4) films will be screened. Two films are stories of Kern County Veterans, and the two other films include stories of a WWII Veteran from The Bronx, NY, and a story of a Vietnam Veteran from Tallahassee, FL.
With the exception of one film, all stories are narrated by the veterans themselves. The films are:
- VIETNAM – IT WAS OUR JOB – The MSgt. Dan Contreras Story (Runtime – 16:20).
- TO BE AMERICAN – The PFC Melvin Spatz Story / As told by Mel Weinstein (Runtime – 20:08).
- SERVING FROM THE HEART – The Col. Washington J. Sanchez Story (Runtime – 28:00).
- BATTLE AT THE RESEVIOR – The Cpl. Arthur E. Gentry Story (Runtime – 21:52).

Each veteran and/or his or her family will be present to accept an award on the veterans’ behalf. Please be there to show your support and appreciation as well.
